The weather has definitely changed and Tumble dryer repairs are rolling in. The usual snapped belts, thermostat and element replacements being the most common repairs this month. Tip - ensure the filter and condenser on a condenser dryer remain clear as blockage invariably will cause the safety thermostat to fail. Also if the cycle is interrupted by opening the door to check the dryness of clothes, make sure the dryer is  advanced to the 10 min cool cycle at the end of the programme. Failure to do this is another reason for safety thermostats operating.
